Fares Garabet

Fares Garabet (1963, Damascus) lives in Dresden. He got a PhD in Animation Art and is a university professor. Since 1986 he publishes cartoons in Arabic and international newspapers. In 2007, Fares Garabet was the representative for unicef’s “Draw Attention”. In 2012 he got a King Abdullah II award, a Jordanian prize . He publishes his cartoons on the msnbc website (usa).
