Firas Bachi

Firas Bachi (Damascus, 1979) lives in the USA. He studied at the Faculty of Business & Economics at the University of Damascus. He is a freelance graphic designer and art director. Bachi’s political CaricaToonz are cartoons and artworks that take a stand against all forms of dictatorial politics, humane injustices, suppression and oppression, and racism and discrimination. His cartoons “dig deep to expose the fuzzy scenes in an unjust world, of injustice where surrendering suddenly became a habit, and supporting the unjust became a worship”.
