Mahmoud Salameh

Mahmoud Salameh (Yarmouk/Damascus, 1972) lives in Sydney. He is a cartoonist, animation filmmaker and graphic artist. Mahmoud worked in Syria and only works as a political cartoonist, regularly for the newspapers Tageszeitung, Leipziger Volkszeitung and Freitag. Since 2003 he produces daily cartoons for the daily newspaper Tagesspiegel, and occasionally draws for about 30 other newspapers.
